The New Spirit Festival - Vistors Guide
The New Spirit Festival is held at the Harbour Function Centre, which is part of North Harbour Stadium in Albany.
Getting there...
The main entrance is on Appian Way. Approaching from the north on the motorway, turn off at Oteha Valley Road, turn right and then left into Appian Way. From the city, take the Albany Expressway exit and turn right just before the Stadium. The main entrance is on the eastern side of the site.
Parking...
When you drive onto the site, make for the grandstand. Parking is FREE.
Inside the Function Centre...
The entrance to the building is at ground level - follow the signs. The ticket desk is just inside the door. Tickets are $25 and we take eft-pos or cash. Once you have paid, the Expo, Readers Area and the Healing and Astrology Area and the Sophia Seminar Rooms are on the first floor. Another two Seminar Rooms are on level 2 and 3, A List and Halima respectively. The Rainbow News Room is on the ground level. There are lifts at both ends of the building, close to the toilets. The Information Desk is on the first floor.
The Seminars are 45 minutes long. You may take your seat from 15 minutes before the hour. There is no need to book as we have plenty of seats. Please remember if you want to talk to the speaker or presenter after the Seminar finishes, another audience will be coming in and another speaker will want to set up. We encourage our speakers to move out of the room before engaging in conversation.
Door Pass
Should you want to go out and come back into the Festival, we will give you a pass out stamp at the ticket desk. Although some stands will have eft-pos they do not give money out. The nearest ATMs are not far away in the adjacent shopping centre. The venue provides an eft-pos cash out service, but our advice is to make sure you have sufficient cash when you arrive.
Just to clarify:
The Saturday Preview Day is the Expo, Readers Area and Healing & Astrology Area - there is no Seminar programme. Snacks and drinks are available on Saturday. On Sunday, the Seminar programme runs along with the other Expo components. Snacks and drinks are available all day with a served buffet lunch available from midday. Enjoy!
